MS. Small Business Development Center Day @ the Chamber
FREE BUSINESS COUNSELING AT CHAMBER OFFICE
Wed., Sept 8th
The MS Small Business Development Center offers counseling sessions for existing and start up businesses. Starting Wednesday, September 8th, Mitch McDowell will conduct sessions at the Hancock Chamber Office. Appointments can be scheduled through the Chamber Office by calling 228-467-9048. In October, sessions will be October 13th and the 27th. All current Chamber members in good standing receive a basic listing with company name, category, primary phone number, address, directions and one keyword.

Appointments can be scheduled at 9am, 10:30am, 1pm or 2:30pm. Start-up counseling sessions can focus on business plans to include cash flow and financial needs to determine the feasibility of the business concept. Counseling sessions can also focus on business structures, accounting, licenses and permits, insurance, site selection and home based business issues. It will also cover subjects like marketing, credit and collateral and financing options. McDowell will custom design the counseling sessions to meet the needs of the client.
